The Movable Weight Technology used in TaylorMade's R7 drivers and fairway woods has been proven by professionals and low-handicap amateurs to result in clubs that are among golf's best. But these movable weights aren't just good for premier golfers - they can let golfers on any skill level alter their ball flights to improve their games. If you're fighting a slice, adjust the weights to move the ball left. If you have a hook, adjust the weights to move the ball right. And if you want a straight ball flight, set the weights that way. This adjustable-weight system is the main reason for the fame of TaylorMade R7 drivers and woods.
The TaylorMade R7 460 Ti driver has a traditionally-shaped, 460-cc clubhead and the highest moment of inertia (MOI) of any TaylorMade driver. It's very long off the tee and extremely forgiving, giving you straighter drives even on mis-hits.
The R7 Limited and R7 Limited TP drivers use TaylorMade's famous Movable Weight Technology to improve accuracy and distance off the tee. The weights on these clubheads can be adjusted to encourage up to 35 yards of side-to-side trajectory change, so if you want anything from a big draw to a slight fade, this might be the driver for you. Its 440-cc head has an extremely high MOI for forgiveness and looks like a triangle with soft corners. It also has a deep, low center of gravity to increase your chances of launching the ball high. If you want the same clubhead but a different grip and a high-performance shaft, try the R7 Limited TP.
TaylorMade's R7 CGB Max and R7 CGB Max Limited drivers also feature Movable Weight Technology and a deep center of gravity. Their clubhead shape is somewhat triangular too, but at 460-cc's it's a bit larger than the head on the R7 Limited and R7 Limited TP. These drivers are forgiving and give you long, high straight shots, even with off-center hits.
The R7 CGB Max fairway woods use TaylorMade's Movable Weight Technology as well, and like the R7 drivers, they can help any golfer hit the ball higher, longer and more accurately. Instead of movable weights, R7 CGB Max irons use TaylorMade's Inverted Core Technology, large clubheads and four tungsten cartridges to make it easier for players to hit high, long, more accurate shots.
